Thunderbird Appreciation Days

The Classic Thunderbird Club International (CTCI), Vintage Thunderbird Club International (VTCI) and International Thunderbird Club (ITC) have set the third Sunday in May as “Thunderbird Appreciation Day,” a day that Thunderbird owners worldwide are encouraged to get their “T-Birds” out into the public so that everyone can enjoy them.

2023 – A great day at the Leighton Arts Centre and lunch at the Hard Knox Brewery in Diamond Valley.

2021 – Advantage Ford hosted our event and it was well attended even in the second summer of the pandemic.

2020 – A Socially Distant gathering was held at the Super 8 Hotel and a few headed on to Black Diamond afterwards for a milkshake.

2019 – A visit to Eamon’s Garage in High River where we were treated to a BBQ lunch and a museum tour by the River City Classics Car Club.

2018 – A convoy out to Marv’s Diner in Black Diamond, then a few went on to the Chinook Honey Company and Meadery.

2017 – A lunch at the Glendeer Circle A&W was held, then several cruised out to Cochrane for ice cream.
