1966 THUNDERBIRD Convertible: bought from original owner in 2005 with under 27000 miles (he bought a new car every 2-3 years and if he liked it he kept it – we had been in contact over the years and he realized he was accumulating to many cars so he offered the T-Bird to me).
It was rust free/ totally original condition but I did a complete restoration * over the next year and have put on only 5350 miles since then (or < 300 miles/ year)
I’ve got too many other cars, activities, interests – so reluctantly selling – just moved from Sarnia – Calgary (4 cars and “only” a 3 car heated garage)
* entire body stripped, fenders, doors, hood, top off, engine/transmission rebuilt, all new power window motors, switches , gears, new fuel tank and sender, rad and expansion tank replaced, top frame repainted/recovered , car redone in Brittany Blue, chrome all redone, seat trim reanodized, seat foam and covers replaced, engine and engine compartment all refinished like new (dash AND door panels still perfect)
